The New World Order: A Cosmic Conversation?

By | Published | No Comments

The message of a new world order is emerging from various disciplines, places, peoples and movements. From religion to politics passing through astrology, technology, conspiracy theory, economics, philosophy, geography, from these and other spaces, it is being proclaimed that the world is moving into a new order.  Is this new world order being imposed by outsiders, or are we, the world dwellers, its architects?  A short detour allows us to briefly participate in some fundamental definitions and perspectives involving the world and the necessity for order. What is the ‘world’ that is being reordered.

The world is not only the ground we walk upon, the part we call the earth, but the union of earth and heaven – matter and spirit, visible and invisible, human and divine.  Earth represents the material, visible aspect of human society, geography, and power. Heaven represents the unseen, invisible dimensions of consciousness, destiny, and the energies that shape existence. Together, they form the totality of being, where, the totality of being = existence = the world.  Only God transcends the world as explained by the Akan Adinkra symbol, Gye Nyame.

Order is a framework within which everything and everyone align and collaborate, through a methodology of wisdom and knowledge operating through balanced relationships, to allow for a harmonious existence.  The world, if it is accepted that balance is a desirable state or condition of being, needs a scaffolding of order as a shield against chaos, imbalance, collapse, disconnection.  A protection fortified by shared wisdom and collective responsibility, a consensus of spirit and society guarding against a deranged existence in spiraling delirium.”

So are we world dwellers not the architects of the new world order? As cosmic beings, embodiment of heaven and earth, are we not the ones to responsibly and continuously, in present time participate in the ongoing re-ordering of the world?  Speaking of a new world order invites us to examine how humanity understands its place between earth and heaven, between the tangible and the transcendent, the transformation that orders and reorders interconnected realms.  Modern discourse has limited the ‘world’ to only the earth. Yet to speak of a new world order is to speak of cosmic re-balancing, an alignment of human society with the rhythms of creation, embracing the whole cosmos of existence. The new world order is not an imposition but a call for humanity to consciously participate in the harmony of being, to live responsibly within both dimensions of the world and to re-align with the wisdom of creation.  Just a thought.
